FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $55 for the first hour and $30 per hour after that. Any materials including refrigerant are extra.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Ask questions about the problem they are having. Does it run? Is it making any sort of strange noises? Are the condenser and supply fans running? Does it have a history of refrigerant leaks. Has there been a recent lightning or thunder storm or possibly a power outage? Checking for voltage present and putting gauges on the refrigerant side are the first things you do after listening to the customer. Check capacitors on the compressor and fan motors, that is a common problem. Megohm the compressor to ground to see if it has a dead short. Check the integrity of the compressor winding's.
