CCV Writing and Editing

I was born with a red ink pen in my hand and have yet to put it down. While teaching, I revived my love of writing and editing. My goal is to turn that into a sustainable career. What's more is I discovered that I truly enjoyed teaching my kiddos how to take their writing - both fiction and non-fiction - from mediocre to good to "Oh my gosh! Wow!" Leading students through the writing process and watching them take their feelings and grow them into well expressed, gargantuan ideas has been one of the greatest joys of my professional life. I am ready to take that collection of skills and apply it to content writing and editing. I've created and completed projects for the Boys and Girls Club, CASA, and other local non-profits. I've also taught technical writing, rhetoric, and creative writing at the college level. If I can convince mechanical engineers, chemistry majors, low-income students from high crime neighborhoods, and adult learners preparing for the GED exam to invest themselves in writing something that it not a lab report, I believe I can satisfactorily rise to any occasion.
