FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for when working with a new customer is first off, formally introducing myself and making the acquaintance of the new customer. Then I always try to get a clear understanding of what the task is that needs to be done. Sometimes the customer only has a vague idea of the task that they want done, so I try to suggest ideas to perhaps make the idea better. After having a clear understanding of the job, I make an estimated quote on price. Usually the talk of matierial purchasing is done at this time. Finally we come to an agreement and set a date for meeting and beginging work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have several years of on hand trainging and experience that relates to my work. I am nationally certified to be a welder. Most of the skills that i have dont come from learning in school, but from working in the perspective fields.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing this type of work after working at different construction jobs over the years. I jumped from landscaping, to cementing, then to electrician, and then welding, then on to other construction jobs. Finally i decided to go on my own.
