- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. we use the rate card from the Editorial Professionals Association as a guideline for initial bidding. These rates can vary with the nature of the job, amount of research and/or expertise required, the time frame and other factors. For reference, the website for the EPA is: the-era.org.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Ideally we like to start with a short call, email exchange, or face-to-face to get the customer's input on the project. To deliver writing that works for you, we need to fully understand the work scope, expected delivery date, target audience and most importantly what your hopes are for the outcome of the project, i.e,. "what does success look like?"
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a writers group of two principals, and a contributing team of 5. Between us, the degrees we hold include: MFA, Theatre/Film Brandeis University; BA, Theatre, Appalachian State University; Advanced Writing classes, (Screenwriting; Fiction-Writing) Gotham Writer's Workshop; 4 published novels on Amazon + one memoir, published on Amazon. Commercial writing prowess gained through decades of agency and in-house creative services department as staff writers and creative directors. Ex: Mccann-Ericsson; Benton & Bowles; HBO, PBS, Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel.
