Introduction: I have a very diverse musical background, though I have a degree in classical music from a music conservatory in Germany, my roots are in rock, blues, jazz etc. I have done much focus on piano pedagogy in the early part of my studies. With over 25 years playing experience and over 15 years teaching experience, I have taught at numerous private music schools in Europe and the US and have taught 1st through 3rd semester piano at California State University Chico. I offer an individual teaching approach for every student depending on personal strengths and goals. I teach a traditional hand technique to all students as well as the opportunity to focus on other subjects such as improvisation, theory, composition/song writing, ear training and more. I am willing to travel to students, or students can come to me. Aside from various keyboard instruments (piano, organ, harpsichord, synth etc.) I also offer bass guitar lessons and vocal coaching. Limited spaces available, I am mainly interested in students who can maintain a consistent weekly lesson schedule in which I offer my best price. Random lesson times are possible at a higher price depending on my availability. Prices may vary depending on travel expenses, please inquire if interested and we can work out the best price possible. I enjoy watching students develop over an extended time period and helping to achieve personal goals whether it be just a hobby or at a professional level.
