Micaela is a very easy person to talk to, she always knows what to say and is super intelligent. There's really nothing I would say that she could do better, amazing experience overall for me.

Micaela is a wonderful counselor. What I love is she doesn't throw a list of resources at you but rather invests in her client by learning what the issues are and offering solutions to work on that you can apply on a daily basis. Micaela is great at offering perspective open heartedly and asks great questions to understand how to meet your needs.

I have had such a great experience with Micaela! She has helped me try to understand my anxiety, depression, and overall feelings. She is so patient and understanding while making me feel very comfortable and open about my thoughts and emotions. She has helped me learn and realize how to take control and to teach myself how to think positively and so much more. I would definitely recommend Micaela. She is such a good therapist who truly cares and tries to understand and help in every way thats possible!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$90 per hour but I do offer a sliding scale on a case by case basis. I do not bill insurance but can provide a receipt for client for reimbursement.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially contact would be made by the client through email or a phone call. From there, there would be a discussion about services desired and the reason for seeking counseling. Initial contact would also involve a different decision regarding rates as well as insurance options. If client decides they would like to schedule a first session, I would email a brief intake form for the client to fill out and bring to their first session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work. My Masters degree in social work was with a clinical focus which allows me conduct therapy.
