We sold a house in an area where we were not familiar with local contractors. Another Realtor recommended Mid Penn Electric. I called, described the problem and they immediately went to the property, gave us an estimate and once we gave them the go ahead to do the work, it was done. They were efficient and very professional. Would use them again for sure.

Brian Ward does excellent professional work. I have had recess lighting installed by him in a new ceiling. He replacing old knob and tube wiring with new wiring. Installed new lighting fixtures switches and outlets. He also added a new sub panel for me.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    For most jobs, we provide upfront flat rate pricing so that you will know what the cost will be before any work begins. If you agree to have the work done, we will sign Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act (HICPA) compliant agreement and schedule the work. The only time we bill on a time and material basis is if you are having electrical issues where the cause is unknown and troubleshooting is required. If, while performing work, we come across any other issues (faulty wiring or any other unsafe conditions), we will make you aware of the issues, provide a price to make repairs and then let you decide if you would like us to address the issues.
