Introduction: My focus and joy comes from photographing people and animals in a natural way, usually in an outdoor space. I also like "covering" many diverse life events by blending into the background to achieve more candid and unposed photos.
I specialize in real estate photos which stems from my years of working as an insurance house inspector. I know how to show your property in the best way possible so that it can be marketed properly.
I love to capture good times that can be looked back on and that bring back the emotions of that time spent together. I try my best to capture people in their best light and to portray life in a fun way.

Mr. Botkin of Candid Event Photgraphy was recommended to me by an artist I know as he didn't do event photography himself. I contacted Mr. Botkin in regards to being the photographer for my daughter's first birthday. His photography style was very agreeable with the event as getting a baby to pose for a photo is near impossible. He was very punctual and professional. He accepted the few suggestions/requests I had for specific pictures without any argument and in all honesty, I would forget at times he was there as he was not intrusive at all. I was pleased with his professional presence at the event, but even more pleased with the photographic results. The pictures were beautiful and really did capture the event in such a way that just by looking at them you would feel as though you had been there. I have since had him do photography for her second birthday as well and will likely use him for her third and any other life events that occur. I can happily recommend him to others knowing I am recommending someone whose work I would gladly stand behind. If you need a photographer who can capture the behind-the-scenes, the real, the little, beautiful moments that a traditional photographer would miss, this is the one for you.

Stevie took some awesome photos at our corporate event, many of which we used on our social media. We didn’t have to worry about capturing the moment because it was handled by him which was nice for us. Excellent photos provided and we plan on using him again for future events!

Stephen did a wonderful job of taken candid pictures at my daughters wedding. He is very personable and helps people feel relaxed and just seems to have a good sense of what makes a good photo opportunity. Will difiently use his services again for special occasions.
