I originally scheduled this job for lawn mowing because I wanted an estimate on both lawn mowing and landscaping. I had three prospects contact me including John. I had a really bad experience before with a person I hired because he was a self starter with no reviews so one out of the three I declined because he had no reviews. I scheduled John and another prospect to come to my house to give me an estimate. When John came he estimated how much mowing of the lawn would be and a project to remove weed, clean up, edge, put new stone, and plants around my above ground pool. John estimated and he gave me some suggestions which I liked. After John left the other prospect came and he was already estimating it would be over what John estimated but he said he will email me the official estimate. The other guy never sent me the estimate so I did not want to chase him for it. John kept following up with me and he was ready to do my job as soon as I said yes, I decided to go with John. I was a little nervous based on prior experience. John has some good reviews on Thumb Tack but I was still a little nervous I have to admit. John said he will be at my house around 9 depending on how fast it took to pick up materials. He was at my house at 9:30 with two other guys. The job was done by 3:05. I and my family fell IN LOVE with the amazing job they did and for the reasonable price they charged. I feel I made the right choice when I hired John to do this job and I am happy I found someone who can do All my landscaping future projects that I need around my house. I totally recommend John. I will attach pictures of before and after. Thank you so much John!!!

So pleased we hired John. If you need a contractor that will *listen* to what you need then he’s your guy. His superior expertise in landscaping was crucial since our frustration with overgrowth of inappropriately located plants that came with our property led us to give them the directions of “We hate it. fix it.” John is honest, straightforward and ridiculously hard-working. Wouldn’t hesitate to have him come out over and over...

All jobs need to be looked at
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Well either the customer calls me or they message me through thumbtack. Then we will agree on a time to meet at there property. Then we walk around their property and they will discuss their want or need. Depending on there needs. I can give a rough estimate on the job. If the job the job needs extensive planning I may have to come back and submit the estimate within a couple of days.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 15 years experience in landscaping soft scaping hardscaping design I also have 14 years experience in All Phases of tree work I've worked for companies like Jaflo Tree co. Pennline Tree co, and asplundh tree expert company doing power line maintenance for PPL power line company
