Introduction: Hello. My name is Brittany, and I am a qualified photographer committed to capturing my client's beauty, emotion, and timeless story. I use my creative talents and education to mold every situation into a heartwarming photograph. My process is deeply rooted in two things: the art of quality and the concept of beauty in everything. I strive for my photography to be intimate, intentional, and conceptual. I consistently capture the attention of the viewer in every shot. My inspiration is fixed in people, the connections they make, and the places they go. I live on a ranch just north of Lemmon, SD with my husband, but my work takes me across the upper Midwest- from the hills of Rapid City, SD to the lakes of Okaboji, IA. I enjoy shooting in the wild, using the breathtaking sight of nature as my backdrop. My hobbies include painting, or art of any kind, gardening, aerial yoga, running with my dog, playing pc games with my husband- Carson, and traveling of any kind. I’m a huge fan of North Dakota weather- we have every sort of weather out there: rain, snow, & shine. Every year I get to experience it all- except sometimes the snow goes a little too long! My goals are to successfully propagate many types of succulents, learn to ride a horse well, and spend way too much time cuddling my three cats, two kittens and dog. I found my passion for photography in 2013 as a senior in high school. I studied photography at Dakota Wesleyan University while pursuing a business degree from Mitchell Technical Institute (graduating in 2018). My practical approach to business and educated, creative approach to photography is the perfect combination. I’m continuously learning from other photographers, Youtubers, Online learning services, and pulling inspiration from the world around me. I began wedding photography with Sioux Falls Complete Weddings and Events in 2015. Since then, I have photographed over 80 events in many different locations. We take pride in capturing your moments and are not limited to wedding/engagement photography. Family, portrait, pageant head shots, senior, toddler and new born photos are among our specialties.
