FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We only get paid when the client gets paid. We do not ask for money up front from injury or disability clients. So if we lose a case, we get NO fee--even if we've worked for years on the case! So we try very hard to win. The Frank Jenkins Law Office would not have been in business since 1997 unless we made a habit of winning for our clients. When we do win or settle a case, we get a percentage of the amount collected as our fee. That percentage varies depending upon the type of case.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ask all new clients to tell us what happened to them, in detail. We then describe what we can do for the client, and what the possible outcomes will be. We estimate how long the case will take, and if possible, we estimate how much money the claim might be worth. We then set up a file, and begin investigating the claim, collecting evidence, talking to witnesses, collecting medical records, and other information.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to college at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky for 4 years and earned a degree in economics and business management. Then I went to Law School at UK for 3 years and earned a law degree. And I've practiced and lived in the 'real world' for 25 years--which is the best schooling there is!
