- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge by the job, not by the hour. All of our technicians are masters of their trade, so jobs that may take another company two hours to complete, may only take us on hour. Some technicians work faster than others, and we don't feel that the customer should have to pay extra for a slower technician or on the job training for new employees. We always explain what needs to be done to repair, install or replace whatever plumbing, heating or cooling issue the customer has. We give the total price up front so that, coupled with the explanation given by the technician, the customer can make an informed decision on which option fits their family's needs and budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with our professional office staff working to schedule your service call at the customer's convenience. It ends with a perfectly executed repair or installation and a no pressure in-home experience that confirms Cottrell & Co., Inc. Plumbing, Heating and Air only employs the best in the business. In between, the customer will be kept informed of schedulng by our technicians and office staff. Our technician will arrive in a full-stocked truck that enables him to complete a majority of jobs in just one visit. He'll be dressed in a clean white shirt with his name and position printed on the front, and he will leave your home better than it was when he arrived. He'll take his time diagnosing your problem, explaining the options available for your situation, and will give you an upfront price so that you can decide which option best fits your family's needs and budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our technicians are Master Plumbers or HVAC Specialists with EPA certifications. We only employ the best.
