Rita is a wonderful instructor!! We are two lessons in and each has been so much fun and very educational! She is very knowledgeable and adds an element of humor and lightness to each lesson. We are looking forward to continuing our lessons with Rita!!Dec 11, 2017Verified
We had a WONDERFUL first lesson with Rita! Her enthusiasm and technique has energized and built great confidence in my fiancee and I, and we cannot wait to continue lessons with her until our wedding! She customized the steps we're learning to fit our first dance song, and build solid steps we could use the rest of the night. We can't wait to work with Rita more these next few months!Aug 23, 2017Verified
Rita is wonderful! We are already on our second 90 minute lesson and in two sessions we've learned MORE than eight hour lessons in a typical dance studio that we initially tried.Dec 22, 2016Verified
Rita is a GREAT dance instructor! We continue to use her to this day. I would highly recommend her.Oct 18, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $70.00 for one hour and I teach a full hour. That cost includes initial consultation, music, and travel time and expenses. The price lowers as more hours are purchased. Five or more hours the price is $65.00. Ten or more hours the price is $60.00. I don't sell more than one block of 10 lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We first discuss the desired dance. I teach customers exactly what they want. I don't spend time trying to upsell advanced lessons. I teach as fast as the person is able to comprehend and I teach style and technique along the way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I trained at Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Atlanta and have been teaching independently for 30 years. I taught four years at Georgia Tech and seven years at the University of Kentucky. I have choreographed wedding routines and theater musicals. As a student or a teacher - one never stops learning. I am always learning new material and dances.
