What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have both hourly rates and competitively priced package rates available.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a conversation with a potential client to gather as much information as possible about what their current practices and programs are related to their marketing efforts so that together we can determine what is working and what is not. From there I listen to what their marketing goals are so that we can determine the path of least resistance to get them there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a double major of Business Administration and Marketing
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been in marketing most of my adult life. I started young because I have always been intrigued on the psychological process that triggers people to make purchases.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Small business owners and medical professionals.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I worked with a mental health professional who had a clinical and sports psychology practice. We put together a marketing plan that included web development, social media, blogging and email marketing. He hired a college intern to help with all of the small details I outlined in the plan and together we tripled his business in 4 months. He went from wondering how he was going to pay his bills to opening up 3 additional offices and is interviewing other Psychologists to help him with the overflow!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Marketing can be overwhelming if you don't understand it. However, if you are patient and willing to make the commitment, it can be the most rewarding part of growing your business.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Are they ready to make the time and financial commitments to marketing their business?
Are they prepared to see the necessary steps to the moving parts all the way through to completion?
Are they prepared to maintain the desired consistency?
