FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Anyone's goal in business is to make a profit, that's a tough thing sometimes. You have to read the economy and know where you stand and what the market will allow. Depending on the project prices vary. Materials fluctuate, unforseen circumstances. I typically like to see around $40-$50 an hour for my particular skill set, which is more than fair in this Colorado economy.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with new customers is always exciting. Communication is key, I've always been very humble so to me its imperative that I listen to make sure the clients ideas are being conveyed. Many clients and more often than not contractors do not understand the importance of establishing a relationship with your client, if I'm going to be in your home for the next 4 weeks remodeling your kitchen we should make sure all the essential components of a relationship exist like trust, honesty, and reliability. You can tell a lot from a person if you just sit down and listen.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The best education, over 20 years hands on, I started in the trenches literally. I dug and I dug and I dug some more. I was fortunate enough to learn many different skill sets, I paid attention and kept my mouth shut stayed humble and in turn some of the best in the business taught me their craft.
