FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard rate includes the time spent that evening, but I'd be happy to meet up (within 30mi of Long Beach) or chat with you prior to the night at no charge!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want you to have the best event possible. Period. The first thing I'll want to be sure of is that I'm the right fit for YOU. If you need someone that speaks multiple languages and can also DJ the night, for example, I'm unfortunately not your guy. After we get the logistics lined up, I usually start off with a brief email questionnaire, followed by unlimited phone calls leading up to the day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My degree is in Marketing and Human Resources, but I really cut my teeth as a member of a cover band that started back in 2001. Over the course of 14 years, we averaged 120+ performances per year and 1/3 of those were weddings and special events. I was one of the lead singers (the other singer was my wife), and I thoroughly enjoyed working with all of my clients over the years. I'm literally still in touch with many of them today.
