My lessons with Dave began almost a year ago now. I've learnt so much since then in ways that were much more meaningful than I'd imagined — it was the first time this stuff didn't feel purely conceptual! As a teacher, Dave is thoughtful, understanding and attentive to detail, his lessons create a really good balance between theory/knowledge and musicality, and are always a great time. I think what really makes them so special though is that Dave is beyond just being an incredibly skilled musician — his creativity and work as an artist really add another dimension to our lessons and I feel I understand my own relationship with music better as a result. Highly recommended.
