FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Are pricing is competitive with local rates for concrete&masonry, these rates vary due to project size and product quality(stone, rock, travertine, etc) we're not always the cheapest but you can expect quality&craftsmanship.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Thomson concrete has been a family business for over 35yrs I took over as foreman at the age of 18,responsible for building residential homes ,at the age of25 I took the family name and business (due to illness)and slowly moved forward.I shut the business down 15yrs ago for the opportunity to go north and learn stone, rock, and brick a skill that can be hard to come in Florida due to material availability spent 7 yrs learning and becoming Forman of a large stone masonry company in ft worth Texas.now Thomson concrete is Thomson concrete&stone, setting us apart from the rest.always taking pride in my work,I have built a good reputation for quality and will continue to do so .
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was trained by a relative as a teenager, and by the age of 18 was running my own crew building residential block homes in pebble creek. as far as stone, rock, and brick are concerned i gained the knowledge in texas. spending 7yrs there proved to be very valuable since their available materials were more natural rocks, and brick, materials we weren't used to working with in Florida.
