What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Prior to the first session, I may talk to the client or send them a form to complete to find out about their goals.
When a client comes into the office we discuss how we will work together to reach their goal (s).
When working with teens or youth, parental or guardian participation may be required.
Safety, comfort and being heard are my top priorities. I will answer any questions at that time. Then I have the client relax and experience hypnosis.
Clients will remember all we say and will never say or do anything outside their values or comfort zone.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for over ten years. During that time, I also worked as a personal counselor. I wanted to make an impact in a way that didn't take years for clients.
Cost, time and results are very important to me. I was very skeptical of hypnosis and hypnotherapy, but I had to find out more.
During my training, I recognized that hypnosis could provide fast change without the huge financial burden and long-term emotional costs that individuals experience in mainstream counseling, revisiting the same issues repeatedly.
I found I had a respect and love for the art and science of hypnosis. The fact that the subconscious mind drives the majority of our behavior was a significant factor in my choosing hypnosis as my therapeutic approach with clients. The rest is history.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with people who have:
cancer, chronic illness,
clients wanting to create good habits,
release bad habits;
people experiencing anxiety,
I've worked with people who have toxic relationships and need to build their personal power and leave guilt behind.
I see the potential in my clients and I know hypnosis works.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My clients have overcome lifelong habits and traumas that have held them back, leaving them behind for good!
Many clients have smoked and/or chewed tobacco since their teens and have quit for good after trying many other approaches.
My weight loss clients lose pounds and inches without starvation.
Clients experiencing anxiety and depression work on changing their perceptions of themselves, providing them with a voice and personal power.
Clients learn how food can be very powerful in impacting their mood, energy and physical health. Our work together removes obstacles to healthy eating so that mind and body become balanced.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I want clients to know that they are in a state of hypnosis as they fall asleep at night and as they wake each morning.
If they have ever experienced driving to a destination and arrived without attention to how they got there, that is also a hypnotic state.
It's not magic, but can provide a magical transformation. Our subconscious mind drives 85% of our behavior.
Get in the driver's seat.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Clients need to know if they really want the change for themselves or if they are trying to change for someone else.
If the change isn't something the client wants, it will be resisted.
