- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is flexible, depending on needs of student and frequency of sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would like to spend some time getting to know a new student as much as possible. My conversations would include the parent, the teacher if possible and the student as well. The more I know about a student and their particular learning needs, and the more information I have, the better I will be able to design and obtain materials to best help them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have spent 30 years as an elementary special education teacher. This experience has given me many tools and insights needed to work with students one on one. I am particularly interested in working with students K-5 in reading (basic reading skills, reading comprehension) written expression, and math (basic math skills and math reasoning). I have always focused my work on individual learner needs. I feel that making an instructional match that works with each learner is key. Having a fun and positive working relationship with my students is so important in working toward achieving goals together.
