FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I cater hourly pricing to each client's needs and expectations. Someone wanting to excel at a college-level physics course and natively master all material needs far greater attention than someone who simply needs to bring their grade up in an elementary math class.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I initially set up 15-30 minutes to see what their goals are and why they need or want academic assistance. I also then request the materials they need assistance with (course syllabus, general topic they're interested in, etc.), and if it's a specific course, get the work as early in advance as possible (so I can run through the homework/test prep problems myself). I do this to ensure that the time that's paid for is as efficient and effective as possible. I know I wouldn't want to pay for time spent on simple math errors because a calculator button was broken.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BSCE with Distinction in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. Was an undergraduate physics teaching assistant for freshman level mechanics.
