Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I use thumbtack myself from time to time, so I understand the hesitation of trusting and hiring a random to enter your home. I've been a handyman my entire life fixing, mounting, solving problems and helping people in whatever capacity they need. I'll be straightforward and honest with you if we work together. I won't quote or commit to work just for a job, I'll only respond when I know I can match your highest expectations. Bonus points: I'm a funny and personable and I get stuff done! I love people and I love the feeling of accomplishing tasks and helping people out. I'm highly skilled around the house, I'm patient and you'll always find me smiling with a positive attitude. I just moved to the Marina Del Rey area from NYC so looking to use my talents on the side while I build technology platform for people and their pets!

Adam mounted our flat screen TV over the fireplace, ran piping to hide the cables and cord from view and hung our giant piece of art securely in our bedroom. He was very detailed and patient from the beginning, allowing us to test different heights and positions of both the TV and art. He was very precise with placement, using this fun looking level with lasers to make sure everything lined up. After the job was complete, he cleaned everything up. We were pleasantly surprised with the overall experience and will definitely have him back for work in the future.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When I work with a customer I believe it's important to listen to what they want then explain it back to them so that my interpretation of their needs is exactly what they want. When hanging or mounting any TV's, artwork, mirrors, etc around a house, I like to involve the customer in the process by using visual replicas (ex: a flat box as a TV) so they can visualize placement on the wall. The extra step allows us to get it right and reduces the likelihood of something not being exactly where they want it.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been working with tools and fixing stuff my entire life.
