FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For some jobs, a set price may be established but often unknown factors require that jobs be priced as 'time & materials', a labor rate plus costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I feel good communications are essential so that I have a firm understanding about what matters most to you. We will discuss the work, review the job site [if possible] and any questions that may arise for either of us are addressed so that we are both clear on how I will proceed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have many years experience beginning from helping my Dad with an addition when I was 9. I was a machinist for 7 years and have worked as a carpenter, contractor, woodworker, metalworker, fabricator, installer, technician, assembler, handyman, remodeler, etc for decades. For 5 years I maintained a CS License and HIC registration but now work primarily as a provider for a Handyman service and do this work through Thumbtack for myself on the side.
