Introduction: Different from your other web candidates, I'm not only a web developer/ designer myself, but also a project manager who could overview, understand, and execute your idea on a macro scope. I have my own close team working together to distribute technical tasks, and compose everything to a final complete product. Not everyone is good at everything, but having me (and my team behind) means that each smallest issue will come to the best person who could get it solved in the nicest and most efficient way. Our set hourly rate (as a team) is always 1.5X less expensive than even that of 1 INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPER you can find in the market; while the overall project's price could drop to 3X lower - due to the large scope of problems we have expertise on. You'll see it a huge advantage on the way reaching for your destination. To put the idea in simple words, suppose you want to build a house, you don't want a plumber to paint your house, or a painter to do your HVAC - even though they all have knowledge and are working on making your house. In the same manner, you need a TEAM for building (and growing!!) your web system. To demonstrate my experience, I have been in main charge of Scan-Line company (current URL: scan-line.fr; while our newly developed website: beta.scanline.fr) since 2014 till now. The company has > 200 stores in Europe, so I designed a huge system to manage all that complex (people, shops, inventory and accounting, etc.). So I could do any thing of that size or less complex. I ordered PHAMTECH.net to develop a web-based personalized printing solution for my existing business named Further & Ink back in 2012. Despite the huge scope of the project, the team has successfully accomplished our requirement and expected result in a considerably short period of time. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always charge clients a rate of $60/ hour/ the integrated work of 1 senior web developer + (with the help of) 1 designer under my own supervision. That's how we work as a team behind, but you only need to discuss project's details with me and I'll execute everything and report to you a reasonable work hours in advance or based on week or month agreement. Market's average now for hiring only 1 senior web developer: > $100/ hour. Working as a team we are 1.5X more efficient.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
- We talk to clients closely to know and understand thoroughly their needs/ requirements - We do design, and redesign several times until it meets or exceeds client's expectation - When client confirms and agrees with our mockups and sitemap/ functionality documentation, we will begin developing them - We check for bugs, launch beta version, have client double check on our work and give us permission to launch - We do revisions if needed (in case instructed by client) - We launch the final work to client's official domain/ website
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated B.S. in Computer Science from Tufts University, Medford, MA, and have had more than 10 years of experience in coding and project's managing myself. I founded a web company back in 2012 and made use of high skilled but less expensive labor oversea to offer the same quality products back to the US. In my view, my work helps open a lot of opportunities for entrepreneurs and small to medium business owners in the Greater Boston area and the US as a whole. Previously, their chance to access high quality labor in this tech field at an affordable price was quiet limited by many factors.
