I also get to experience and document the connection, the bond, the love between those who are being photographed. I get to share something with those people and preserve it for a lifetime. Erica has done many photos in my life - and they are treasured memories that she has captured. From making me feel like a princess in my prom photos to helping me and husband with our first child's newborn pictures when we were in a pinch. She also went above and beyond for our Christmas photos. She is very professional , but also extremely personal. I am so glad to know her because I know whatever we receive (whether we have a plan or we tell her to wing it) will be beyond fantastic.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing we do is discuss with the customer what their needs are. We talk about dates, time frame, and so forth. Once we know all of the details, we can begin discussing what may be the best options available for that individual. For larger events and weddings, we hold a consultation: in person, via skype or over the phone. This is a great time to further discuss details, options, and answer any questions that may still be unanswered.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I took a basic photography course in high school. Instantly I fell in love with the art and have been photographing everyday since. My business did not start out right away. This took several years of perfecting my art and progressing. I find every day to be a new adventure and love the stories I get to tell.
