Introduction: I offer cooking lessons in the comfort of your home for adults and children. I also offer cooking demonstrations for family gatherings, girls night-out and work parties. All menus are customized to what you want to learn or eat! Possibilities are endless and I bring food knowledge to the cutting board! I love to teach, educate people of all ages the ins and outs of cooking. From breaking down a whole chicken to meal prep, basics of knife skills & baking or some delicious food with entertainment and knowledge- As any great chef, the responses from eating a great meal that everyone will enjoy!

As a hard-working business professional, eating healthy can be very difficult at times. With my rigorous schedule and constant deadlines, I find myself grabbing more fast food and less healthy items every day. Since I have met Chef Alex, she has completely transformed my mindset on healthy eating and what it means to live a healthy life not just from a food standpoint but in all areas and aspects of life. From making healthy food choices to understanding the reasons why we pick the foods we do, it is obvious that Chef Alex is a complete professional and arguably the best chef in Pittsburgh. I have noticed substantial gains in my energy level and have been able to sleep better at night and be more attentive during the day because of my new food choices. My prices are based on the duration of time you want your lessons/event to be, as well as the menu options you are picking.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a phone conversation with my client. To discuss menu options, what you are wanting to learn/make and any food related allergies. I set up a thorough email with the date and time of your event, along with any details that we have discussed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have actively been apart of the food industry for 10 years, I attended the New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont. I am currently continuing my education by becoming a certified a nutritionist through Precision Nutrition as well as, a NASM certified personal trainer. My passion doesn't stop with education others, I am continually growing myself to become a well rounded, Wellness Coach & Chef!
