Their videos sound good but communication was poor. I was quote $600 for an hour duo performance. The max guest Thumbtack let me choose in my request was 250 people therefore that is what I chose to continue. When asked in personal email communication how many people I gave the number and was suggested the whole band. I was give the price of the whole band. That was out of my budget. I gave my top budget I had for a band which he wasn't able to work with (completely understandable). I emailed back about the upcoming event and the response the duo would only play for my max budget instead of the original given quote and wouldn't be able to make it to sound check. It would be been nice to know early that he didn't want to come out to perform after committing and without me having to reach out confirming his original commitment. Also having his price go up when I told him my max budget (which was a budget for a full band). I understand it is his exposure he is missing out on no performing as many of our artist get a lot of gigs after they perform at our events but it was a very poor experience working with him for him to bail after committing and that I had to reach out to find out he wasn't coming instead of him reaching out respectful and with drawling his original commitment.

Hi Devon. I’m so sorry we couldn’t reach an agreement. When we agreed upon a price I was unaware of some important details. I was unaware that load in was at 4pm and that we would have to wait around for 5 hours before performing. Also when you sent the quote you stated there would be 250 guests so we agreed upon a duo to play. The the guest count now says 7,000 people. With a crowd like this we would need to have a full band play. I’ve reached out to you several times and have not gotten a response. If you were more clear with the logistics I could have given you a better price quote from the beginning.

My experience with the Whiskey trail Band was excellent in every aspect. They were responsive from my first contact with them responding to my questions immediately. They arrived early and with almost no direction set up their eqioment and was ready to perform in advance of the start time. I received many compliments from my guests. At the pre discussed time they concluded their live performance and moved their equipment to a new location and became a DJ. They add some colored lights which were perfect. Once again, a terrific job. Took many requests and did a good job balancing the music for 18 year olds and those around 50 years old. Everyone was having such a great time that I extended the DJ time an extra hour. I would confidently recommend them in every aspect!
