Introduction: Labeled by a mentor as a Renaissance Woman of Beauty, I like to keep my hands busy and my creative mind turning. I never turn down a challenge and I'm forever evolving my list of crafts. I am a Licensed Esthetician, Certified Makeup & Lash Extension Artist in Orlando. I have been in the beauty industry for since 2010. Like many artists I got my start at a cosmetics counter and fell in love. Unlike many, I continued my journey by being personally trained and mentored by professionals with celebrity client lists. I learned many different tricks and techniques from each of them and eventually discovered my own signature moves. However, in this industry staying fresh with the flow is the challenge many artists face. I stay current with the evolution of beauty by studying current trends on social platforms and attending seminars held by world reknown Makeup Artists. With my experience and eye for perfection I am able to use my knowledge of undertones, overtones, blemishes and skin types to completely transform each beautiful face. Over the years I have tested many different product lines and each product in my kit has been selectively chosen as a “tried and true”. In my kit you will find a vairety of brands including (but not limited to) Urban Decay, MAC, Graftobian, LORAC, Kat Von D, Cover FX, Dermablend, Crown, and Morphe. Additionally, the toners and moisturizers I carry in my kit are spa grade. I am always excited to meet new faces and I love to answer questions. Feel free to check out my visual portfolio! Here's to the ever evolving beauty industry and the many years to come <3

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've been an artist since I could pick up a crayon. My niche for beauty began in High School when I studied both visual arts and theatre. Fast forward a few years and I became friends with a few people that introduced me to the industry. I began to play with makeup, worked behind the counter, and continued to blossom.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The most important thing to remember when looking to hire a professional Makeup Artist is to do your research! Portfolio images and reviews are a must. Make sure that images shared online do not look airbrushed or photoshopped and when in doubt, request a trial run. Ask lots of questions about experience and more specifically how the MUA can provide exactly what you’re looking for. Provide inspiration photos to ensure that the look is within the skill range of the artist but also remember that the final outcome will most likely not be exactly the same. Everyone’s skin and facial features are different. For more of our reviews check out our Google profile for Lucid Lash & Brow Studio of Merritt Island!

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

You should be able to discuss your expectations with the professional you are looking to hire. Always ask for examples of relevant work. If you have a particular skin condition or disorder you need to know if they will be able to properly work with it.
