Introduction: I have close to 20 years experience within the deaf community; interpreting, teaching and signing. I have a degree in Interpreting for the Hearing Impaired and would love to pass along my knowledge of this beautiful language. I love watching the light in someone's eyes when they realize they can put their thoughts into their hands and communicate in a brand new language. Holly is an amazing teacher! Not only does she come to class every week ready to teach, but she does it with a smile and makes it fun!! So much that my kids look forward to our Sign class nights!!! And Holly is so talented she has even made it so my husband wants to be involved too!!!! We love her!!!! 💖

I'm in Holly's sign language class, and since day 1 I have loved going. Holly is an excellent teacher. She incorporates fun and learning into all of her lessons. I went into her class knowing nothing but the ABC's and a few animals. Now, I can have a full conversation in sign language. Her classes are enjoyable and a great way to spend an evening with many amazing people that all share the same hobby of sign language. Anyone looking to learn sign language and meet a great person such as Holly, I highly recommend you go to her classes! I am so great full I met her and will forever consider her a very amazing friend!

Holly has become a weekly tutor in asl for my daughter and today was the first lesson. They instantly clicked and she inspired my daughter's already budding interest even further. When Holly left, my 13 year old girl held her hand to her chest and exclaimed, beaming, "I love her! She is me all grown up!" She is exactly what I was looking for and can't wait to see the teacher student relationship continue to bloom.

Normally classes are 45-60 minutes long and the amount of classes vary by each student. I created a core 12 week class, but most students continue past that timeframe.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The very first class would be an assessment of their skills and I would plans going forward from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Interpreting for the Hearing Impaired.
