About this pro
This review will cover close to 2 months of searching for a gutter installation company that ended up resulting in a 90% completion of my gutters. It started with the 1st search through thumbtack for gutters. Gutters edge immediately contacted me and we agreed for a survey and estimate. I assume the owners son was the person sent over to give us a quote. All was good with the survey and we were given two options on ways to go. One was the entire house and the other was for just the back yard. The back yard was most important to me being that we have a covered patio that was getting ruined each time it rained. With 2 quotes in hand we agreed to do the back yard 1st. I contacted Robert and scheduled an installation day. That day passed, left messages and got no response. A couple days later I got a hold of Robert and he promised he would be at home for install later the following week. Again a no show. At this point it was either because the quote his son gave us was too low or the job for just the rear of the house wasn’t worth it for his company. Fast forward a month later where i submit another thumbtack request for a gutter installation. First one again to respond is Gutters Edge. After refreshing Robert with our pass he promised me that this time it would be handled after telling me that prices went up but he would honor the “cash” price. This time Gutters Edge showed up. What should have been a 1 day install ended the first day with a promise to appear the following day to complete. 1st day we had to installers. 2nd day only one showed because the other quit. The main installer was very courteous and hard working, so no issues there. On the second day of installation, it rained on and off. Brief sprinkles but enough to complicate the sealing of the gutters. So at the end of the second day the just was still not complete due to not being able to seal the joints due to the weather. But at this point my wife paid in full based on a promise to come back and complete the job. Following day we contacted Gutters Edge to see when they would send someone back out to seal the joints. It rained a couple times so we were seeing leaks all over the place. No response or call backs. So now we are at this point, where I have an incomplete and leaking set of gutters the line my entire home. Incomplete because I am missing at least 2-3 splash guards that control the over flow in high water areas and leaking because of the joints Not being sealed. If this review doesn’t get a response I will be forced to finish the work myself.Apr 8, 2018Verified
Robert was very accommodating and answered all my questions very patiently. He was the only one that actually showed up to my house to give me the estimate. The work was done on time and my property was left clean. I highly recommend them. My gutters look beautiful! Oh and PS ladies: he’s not bad to look at, lol. Thank you Robert!Feb 5, 2018VerifiedRobert D.'s reply
