Josh was punctual and provided efficient service. Upon hiring Josh the charges for the services being rendered were mutually agreed, however; due to unforeseen circumstances he requested to increase the price on several occasions. He verbally provided an analysis to support the increase and initially I agreed that the verbal agreement would suffice but as time progressed I decided on securing an informal invoice for my own records keeping and also to provide to the builder for proof of plumbing expenditures. I'm not a plumber so I am not fluent on plumbing; if asked what additional work needs to be done I can't really provide a cognitive answer. I've asked Josh on numerous occasions to provide an invoice and to date never received it. I had to end services with Josh because when I asked for an invoice earlier today, he became confrontational, irate and talked to me in a condescending tone. Our initial contract was verbal; I didn't sign any estimates or anything. In contracting an agreement is an agreement and I could have not agreed to pay the additional monies he asked me because his rate was finite and included contingencies. But I accepted the new rates and agreed to pay him because I am an honest consumer who believe in being fair to contractors. The invoice was not to question his integrity, it was because I now want a receipt of services rendered. He replied that his work was exceptional and I used "Thumbtack" to avoid going to a big company like Len the Plumber and how we originally agreed to not have an invoice. Like his requests for increasing the price, situations change. As a consumer I have the right to ask for an invoice. I have proof of all payments through checks but I wanted to reflect on what I paid for by itemization. I have been extremely amicable and professional throughout the tenure of my plumbing experience and I would have never thought Josh would treat me in this manner. Josh is a great plumber but he needs to work on his people skills. All consumers have a right to an invoice regardless of whether or not services are with a private contractor or a big contractor like "Len the Plumber."

This dude's a good guy.. during my day and a half with him he really helped me out a lot.. hiring him for originally 2 or 3 leaks in my PVC water pipes it ending up being way more the 3 leaks. Let me start by saying he stayed from 7-7 until I had to leave therefor we had to finish the next day.. needless to say there was no bge at the home we were using our phone flash light when it got dark at 5:30.. 2nd he didn't need a dime from me until he was finished.. he purchased the parts I needed Wit his own money besides the extra parts I had from the last plumbers who didn't complete the job.. 3rd he was honest. He didn't act like he could fix something that he couldn't. He was honest and told me there was nothing he could do for it and gave me a option of adding a cut off valve until I am Able to call a different plumber. His work was definitely amazing and I would definitely call hi. Again or refer him to other people. Only advice I can give him is communicate with the customer when the price is adding up more than the agreed amount.. thank buddy you really work wonders..

JG Plumbing did an excellent job installing pipes and fixtures in my new nathroom. The sink and tub look flawless and there are no leaks. Josh was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He was the cheapest quote I got and was able to come out same day; plus he was able to complete the job quick and efficiently.

Josh arrived at the time he promised. Installed our dishwasher quickly and efficiently. Very courteous and professional. Would not hesitate to hire him again. Highly recommended.
