- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Boarding is $25/night with additional dogs in the same run being $18/night. Training sessions vary but one on one training in facility starts at $65.00/session. Playcare is $18/day/dog.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Homemade Hounds, we want to quickly get to know you and your dog. Home environment/schedule plays a BIG part in behavior modification. Depending on severity of behavior needing to be modified, we have a number of options available after the evaluation depending on what best suits dogs and owners. With Boarding/PlayCare clients, we again like to "get to know them". We encourage pet parents to bring items that sooth the pet and help us in understanding their favorite sources of entertainment. We want the pet and client to feel like "family" is watching their dog and really make them happy they chose us.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our head trainer has been in the Animal Behavior industry for 15 years. She has worked with Giraffes, Elephants and Dolphins in addition to dogs. Using her " bag of tricks from these different training environments, we have the ability to work with a number of techniques.
