We have trained people that have survived robbery and assault by weapon, as well as domestic and other forms of violence.
Our chief instructor, Mark Winn has been teaching and training martial arts for 25 years. He is instructor level or above in Krav Maga as well as traditional Kung Fu and Karate. This gives him an insight to Krav Maga that many instructors don't have. While at the same time, he holds to the principles and effective theories of Krav Maga.
Mark also brings another insight to Krav Maga, because he is a certified personal trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine and International Sports and Science Association. He is also a martial arts kickboxing instructor and Functional Movement Specialist Level One. He has trained college athletes, professional dancers, weight loss, and disabilities.
His experience in fitness has involved strengthening areas of weakness to support the body's movement. This knowledge assist you in optimal technique for attacking the same weak areas to survive an attack. He can explain how Krav Maga technique impacts these weak areas through rotation, extension, flexion,mass and other physiological principles.
