Introduction: My Dog Development program is centered around communication between the dog and owner. Focusing on this aspect of the relationship is the key to creating a lifelong positive connection for both owner and canine companion(s). Whether it is learning simple commands (e.g. – sit, down, place, etc.), establishing boundaries or curving unwanted behaviors (e.g. – excessive barking, jumping, food aggression, etc.), my goal is to give clients the tools and the knowledge they need to successfully achieve an enduring bond. As a Certified Dog Trainer, I appreciate any opportunity to help a client and their pet develop a better understanding of each other. I value clients that recognize that the work we do together can only be successful if they are dedicated to consistency. Dogs need that in order for the training to work. My approach of developing better behaviors by reading and understanding canine body language and successfully relaying the information to clients is just one of the tools I enjoy sharing, and this approach makes a significant difference in the time frame for achieving developmental success.

The Howliday Inn was probably one of the single great finds I have ever had as a dog mom! I have two rescue dogs that needed some human socialization skills along with a few other needs making it difficult to find a boarding place I could trust. Both of my furballs can be slightly timid and shy but I saw such major improvements once they started boarding, going to day camp, just plain spending time at the Inn with the help of their highly personable and skilled trainer, Jonathan! I work absolutely anything but normal business hours and everyone at Howliday Inn always tries to help accommodate not only me but my pups. I get updates whenever I get anxious about being away from them without hesitation from any of the staff. I could go on and on but I can't say anything but wonderful things about the Howliday Inn and how thankful I am to know that my furry kids are in great hands!

It always amazes me, watching the transformation of shy/timid dogs, come out of their shell and start to feel more like a pack. Arrow loves your two dogs and I think also really helped breaking Ares out of his insecure bubble!! All in all, I am very glad your pups get to come on a regular basis and my dogs and staff enjoy them just as much! Thanks!!
