FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally private music lessons go for $30/half hour or $60/hour. Some of our teachers charge more than this based on their years of experience and demand for their service. If pairing you with one of these teachers we will inform you up front of this.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically when when a new customer elects to take lessons with our teachers we will first need to pair them with the correct teacher and arrange for a scheduled lesson time. Once the first lesson happens we will follow up with the customer directly to verify that this teacher is the perfect fit. Once we have found the perfect teacher we allow the teacher to schedule directly with our customer and go from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our teachers posses the requisite training required to teach their instrument. This ranges from full classical training and even Master's degrees for those teachers who work with woodwind, brass and orchestral string students to professional touring and recording experience for those who work with guitar, bass and drum students. All of our teachers are thoroughly vetted and background checked and meet or exceed a very strict set of requirements.
