Introduction: I have been exploring landscape and nature photography for the past five years and have been recognized by Smithsonian and Orange Magazine. I offer high resolution interior and exterior, High Dynamic Range (HDR), and panoramic photographs. As a resident of the Hudson Valley, I maintain competitive pricing, and I strive for excellent customer service. Growing up in the scenic Hudson Valley has fostered my passion for nature and photography. I have always loved the outdoors, and photography has allowed me to capture the tranquility of nature while telling a story. I hired Jason to photograph my rental property this past year. The home has an older charm that I was failing to capture on my own camera. Jason photographed almost the entire house, including the yard, and every image was clear and appealing. Working with the angles of the rooms and the natural lighting, he captured the warmth of the house that I could not translate to image myself. After updating my rental profile with these images, I had more inquiries and rentals each month than I ever had before! Jason is very friendly, patient, and honest. He makes you feel comfortable and does the best job possible without imposing any artificial effects on your home/ property. I recommend Jason for your real estate photography needs. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is determined on a per request basis. Factors that effect the price are the number of properties, size of the property, and the number of photographs that are required.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To start, I will require the type of property that needs to be photographed, as well as what services are required. From there, I will arrange a photography session and meet the agent at the property. A typical session takes from two to three hours, depending on what services are needed and how large the property is. After all photographs have been taken, I require 5-7 days to post-process the images. Delivery of the photographs are typically Google Drive or Dropbox.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have no formal education in photography. By trade, I am a mechanical engineer that started photography as a hobby. Through online workshops and reading, I taught myself the fundamentals of photography and the proper technique for composing photographs and post-processing.
