We discussed what she intended to do, what her method was. What she extected from me. I have started acting on some of her ideas. Bought him a kennel and tried training better how to walk on a leash.

Chelsea was wonderful to work with. Her experience and professionalism really showed when she was helping us with training for our puppy. We found her approach to be a great fit for our 8 month old Newfie. He will be quite large, so we wanted to make sure we could manage him in day to day life. She was firm but kind in all she did. I highly recommend her!!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My standard pricing for one dog is $600 for four in-home visits. These visits are about an hour long and consist of teaching the owner mentally stimulating activities to perform with their dog in order to engage their brain to change their state of mind. The owners learn about body language and how to become the leader of their pack.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I obtained a Bachelors degree from the State University of New York in Cobleskill in Animal Science with a Concentration in Canine Training. I have worked in the dog industry for over eight years and continue to grow and learn new techniques on how to handle dogs. I have trained service dogs for Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities in Torrington for two years before moving to Vermont. While in Vermont I worked with an amazing trainer named Ian Grant, who is a visionary in the industry. I became his Operation Manager and Trainer and taught many dogs and their owners how to change negative behaviors. I've dealt with dog aggression, human aggression, over stimulated dogs and much more.
