Introduction: Hello! I am a violinist and violin teacher located in Palo Alto. I have a studio of students ranging from beginner to advanced (ages 5 and up.) My students have received top scores in the RCM, NYSSMA, and ABRSM examinations, joined local orchestras and won various competitions.
It is my goal to bring out the greatest potential in every student by tailoring every lesson towards the direct needs of each individual student. By learning the violin, students develop skills in creative thinking, problem solving, communication and a stronger work ethic. Skills outside of music will be empowered such as public speaking, self-discipline, time management and self-confidence. The potential of every child is unlimited. I am open to anyone who has the desire to learn the violin. I am trained to work with students of all ages and aim to build a love of music, good work habits and outstanding achievement in every student beyond their expectations. As a Suzuki teacher, I am trained to work with the youngest of musicians in a fun and nurturing way. I focus on establishing a solid technical foundation and work with the student to achieve their individual goals.
I enjoy watching my students discover the joy of learning an instrument and making music. It is a pleasure to see students progress and develop skills that will impact their lives in positive ways.
I holds degrees from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, to the University of Performing Arts in Graz, Austria, and Stony Brook University in New York.
