Introduction: I have been doing Wedding’s for 16 years in SW Florida and Chicago. My employment has always been in hospitality. I have worked for Nobel House at LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort, Hyatt Regency Coconut Point, Trump Towers Chicago and Palmer House Hilton Spa’s as the lead stylist creating magic for brides from all over the country. I am currently working as an independent contractor inside of a salon in Naples. I pride myself in not only my hairstyling abilities but also in the connection you need with the person you depend on to make you look flawless on your big day! A wedding is one of the most important days of your life and whom you choose to create the perfect look is so very important to you and me. I listen, perform, create and understand this is ALL ABOUT YOU! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on level of talent , travel, product and what you would normally be charged in the salon. I charge less than I charge in the salon when I work outside of work as I'm working for myself and I like to cut people a deal to keep my good name out there.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to get to know their daily styling routine and also how the would wear their hair on a night out. What their goal is for their appointment today and budget? Also to assure them they are in good hands and if at anytime things are not going in the direction they desire to please let me know so we can change direction to get desired results! It's not about me, it's all about them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years of training. I have trained with the best. I keep myself up to the latest trends I also take classes about 6-8 times a year. I attend the beauty show in Orlando, Chicago and LA every year.
