FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to get to know each student as an individual and tailor my approach to their goals and taste in music. Both the student and I get to know each other as people and musicians. I like to bring out the passion and inner musician that is within everyone interested in music.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's in Music and English Literature and have studied at the the Eastman School of Music in Rochester New York among other colleges. I have studied with many prestigious concert pianists and have been playing since I was a child. I also specialize in teaching music theory.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages and demographics. I have taught in Charleston South Carolina, Cape Cod, and the Metrowest area. I teach entire families who wish to learn the piano and even teach professional musicians and music producers who want to enhance their knowledge of music theory. Even though I'm classically trained, I can adapt to any style of music whether it's a child who wants to learn how to play video game or movie theme music, an adult who wants to play modern rock songs, or a parent who wants to learn how to play music for their family.
