FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a standard pricing system due to the wide variety of services I offer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to make arrangements to meet with the customer and view the project before giving a quote. This will allow me to see what the project entails, ask any questions I have and answer and questions the home owner has. Doing this allows me to provide a more accurate quote with less bumps down the road. Also, it starts good rapport with the customer.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing repairs on my home. If I did not know how to do something, I went to seminars held at my local hardware store and learned new skills. My family, friends & neighbors quickly saw all of my projects and began asking me to do some work for them. Then I started working with a flooring contractor part time to add more tools to my toolbox. I enjoyed all the work I was doing so much, that I decided to make my own business out of it.
