- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers start with an initial body/movement assessment to test for muscle imbalances as well as a goal setting orientation. First consultation is to establish that the client and I are a good fit to work together as well. I invest a lot in my clients and expect that they too do the same for themselves.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been into fitness and sport. Working as an oncology nurse I had so many people ask me for health advice- not just exercise but nutrition as well. And from both patients and fellow healthcare professionals! I started doing meal plans and personal training on the side before making the jump to full time.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of people: moms who cannot lose the weight after having babies, people who want to learn how to olympic lift, clients from 8 years of age to 72. I think that getting in shape has no time limit: you are never too old, never too out of shape. I enjoy working with people who have never stepped in a gym before and are new as well as seasoned athletes who might be looking for a new challenge.
