I needed my garage and shed chipped and painted to match my house. John and Caroline got the job done in great time, and the place looks wonderful. They also installed a flood light for me no problem. Definitely a good go-to handy team.

John Sandmeier did a very poor job of installing a backsplash in our kitchen. The tile sheets are not on the same plane, he was very sloppy installing the tile around the outlets, he left the outlet plates loose because he failed to put longer screws to secure them, and he left a section next to and above the mural without tile. He also left a lot of grout on the tile, and my husband and I had to spend 2 days removing it from each little piece of tile. I think we would have achieved a better outcome if we had installed it ourselves. We gave John the opportunity to correct the problems. We had an appointment, and he cancelled it. When we sent him pictures of the problems with the job, asking him to reschedule, he has ignored us. At this point we are having to hire a true professional to correct the problems, which is costing plenty of money. The time and aggravation are also costly, having to take time off work. John told me that installing a backsplash is "pretty straight forward", but I honestly think this is the first time he was attempting to do so. We are considering taking him to small claims court. I'd love to add pics of the project, but they are not transmitting.

I found John to be well versed and an excellent communicator and his work was outstanding. He is paid by the hour and he wasted no time I can not do physical work, he can and works to perfection. I began this type of work fully remodeling foreclosed houses. My skills grew exponentially with each house I finished.
