Introduction: I developed my interior design practice from my love of creating spaces that are inspiring and personal to clients, while it functions for their everyday lifestyle. My focus is to create a space with purpose, allowing clients to be more comfortable, happy, and productive. I am an interior designer with years of experience working on many different interior design projects. I am a certified WELL AP interior designer and educator of a healthy build environment. I service the NYC metro area and Hudson Valley area. Equipped with a team of the skilled crew with contractors, and builders. I work on renovations, kitchen, bathrooms, interior design, space planning, upgrades, furnishing, and project manager. I provide clients with healthier product alternatives and products and good design solutions. I recognize the importance of giving clients an environment where they can feel their best physically and mentally. For me, my clients and are the most important part of my work. I want to use my skills and knowledge to help them achieve a home that they have always envisioned. I believe their home should tell their story.

Giselle helped me design and renovate my kitchen & bath on a tight budget last year, and because she didn't want me to feel like I skimped on luxury, she showed me a way to restore that luxury with the right fixtures and accessories and helped me pick them out. She also hired a great contractor who got the job done under budget, which is very unusual. I couldn't be more happy with the design, the look, and feel of the rooms and the materials we ultimately went with. I'm so glad I went with Giselle's suggestions. Now, both my kitchen and bath have a high-end feel, without it having drained my wallet! Giselle is the ultimate professional. Her unique designs, her keen sense of style and her passion for art and design cannot be questioned. I highly recommend her for any room in your home or apartment. (Surprisingly, she doesn't have the ego that many designers have. She is simply a pleasure to work with.)

Giselle and I are working on a large residential interior renovation and interior design project. We were commission by the client to work in different aspects of the project but in collaboration. We have worked together in the past and I am always amazed at her ability to very organized with her team of skilled tradesmen working on the project from tilers, millworkers, installers, and painters. Giselle is truly an experienced interior designer and project coordinator as she gets everyone moving together forward. She has such a calm demeanor which makes her a pleasure to work with. Always there to help resolve any issues, should they arise. Giselle will be there from project inception till completion, to guide the customer in creating a home in which they will love living; for many years to come. She will help ease the stress that, comes from handling a remodeling project. By helping in making the best choices for the project. On the creative side, she is able to create very detailed drawings, visual representations, and samples on hand not only to help her clients envision but also to make it easy for the crew to build. She says is like making a great recipe with the right ingredients and creativity you could make something everyone loves and enjoys. We hired Giselle to help us with our home that had several issues and challenges. One many of our common areas were dated like the kitchen and bathrooms. She designed a newly updated space that feels fresh and classic. Giselle was so knowledgeable about giving us options and really getting in the heart of how we best use our home. She made me think of things I never thought of and to see the space potential. One of our priorities was that we want everything to be as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible she is a wealth of information. She never rushed us to make a decision she just provided a lot of product information, design ideas, concept, and drawings that help me in my decision-making process. She made my priority her priority and never tried to sell me on anything that did not feel right and kept our focus. She is very clever and talented in how she mixes products at different price points to still create the look we are after without sacrificing the budget. We know we are going to enjoy our home we are halfway done but it is looking great and I know we are going to be very happy. I am so glad that we hired Giselle and she comes highly recommended.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work either by the hour or per project base fee based on the individual scope of work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with communication in which I can learn more from clients about the space and room they are looking to improve and renovate. By scheduling a complimentary phone call. I have a series of questions I ask to understand better the client's expectations, and particularly about the space. If we find that we would like to move forward I will schedule an onsite visit or virtual zoom meeting which would be charged at $120 an hour.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in interior design from the Fashion Institute of New York. After earning my interior design degree, working on many different projects, some in collaboration with renowned interior design firms and design companies in NYC. I became interested in achieving a healthier built environment and have sustainable options. This led to studying and achieved accreditation as a WELL AP and become a WELL faculty from the International WELL Building industry. As an ASID member, founder-co chair of the Health, Wellness, and Sustainability committee, I am an advocate and educator leader for the trade, passionate about teaching the benefits of healthier environments.
