We loved her during our trial session. She is very approachable and flexible. I think my 5 year old will have a great time learning from her.Jan 14, 2019Verified
Kaycie is a very friendly, creative, and responsible person to work with. She and I have worked in music together for over 5 years now and she is always a joy to work with. Kaycie is an extremely proficient guitarist, singer, writer, teacher, and more. She brings a versatile and unique perspective to everything she does. 10/10 would recommend.Dec 8, 2018

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I use an hourly rate. I have found that this is most fair for my clients and myself. I also offer 25 and 45-minute lessons, which are priced accordingly!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to open a candid and honest line of communication between myself and the potential client where we lay out expectations of each other. This is a great time to see if I can offer what the client is looking for! This is where I ask lots of questions, speak on my abilities and specialties and go over logistics, such as my cancellation policy. Do you have equipment? Is food provided? What kind of music are you looking for? Can I set out a tip jar? Etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I hold a BM in Commercial Music from Belmont University! At Belmont, I sang with Chamber Singers, a classical group, and Jazzmin, the Downbeat Award-Winning jazz vocal ensemble. I worked at a hotel for four months after graduation, where I learned an immense amount of repertoire! I have been teaching lessons for five years.
