- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to offer my services for $40/hr. I will drive to a location of your choosing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to offer a free introductory lesson (60 minutes) to make sure that we work well together. This is a simple risk-free way to decide if I'm the right fit for your needs. If you find that you are obtaining valuable instruction, then we can schedule additional lessons. If not, you are quite welcome to explore other tutors who may teach with a style better suited to you. I ask ahead of time which subjects and topics that you are interested in covering, so that I can prepare notes in advance for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently finished my Biochemistry B.S. degree at University of California, Santa Barbara. I have taken and excelled at University Level science, math, and English courses. I have a strong background in journalistic and scientific style writing, and would be confident teaching writing/editing as well. I have worked as an independent tutor, teaching Calculus and Chemistry to students.
