- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Because each piece of decor is uniquely made just for your wedding or event, pricing will depend on the level of extravagance, detail, and the amount of materials and labor needed to complete it. Flower arrangements and bouquets will also depend on the type of flowers requested, as well as the season in which the wedding or event will take place. On a tight budget? We're up for the challenge! We offer a variety of beautiful and unique decor pieces available for rent and we are great problem solvers. We can think of ways to give you the look you are trying to achieve without breaking the bank. No matter what your budget is, we know how important you're wedding is to you and will take great care in making it truly special for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step in our process would be for you to contact us - either through our "Contact" page, by phone or email - to set up a free consultation. You will meet with the owner/lead consultant of Glory-Us Events, Shannon, and one of the lead designers. Tell us any information about your event, such as the date, location and potential number of guests (if known), and the vision you have for it. Bring along any pictures you've found online or in magazines that resemble the look you want for your event. These can be centerpieces, aisle runner decor, a bridal party table design - any type of decor that conveys the tone and theme you desire that you would like to have at your event. Our designer can present you with a comprehensive sketch of a potential design or decor piece for your event on the spot. You may select any additional decor pieces you would like for us to provide for you from our list of offered services, along with any known details about how you would like them to look. Within a few working days, we will contact you by phone or email with an estimated quote. Since this is just an estimate, items can be altered throughout the process of working with us should you decide to sign up for our services. Whether it's to better fit within your budget or to conform to the changing details about your upcoming wedding or event, we will work with you on your decor pieces throughout the planning process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The Glory-Us Events Design Team consists of accomplished artists, sign writers, florists, specialty sculptors, and carpenters. As a published children's book illustrator, our Design Team lead Charlene can present clients with accurate concept art of how they can expect certain decor and floral pieces to look when finished. Our behind-the-scenes crew includes a professional scenic artist and sign writer who has spent over 30 years working in the television and motion picture industry.
