I am a Certified Residential Appraiser providing non-mortgage related current and retrospective valuations for Single Family homes, Multi-Family properties up to four units, Condominiums/Townhomes and Vacant Land. For those requiring, I am an Expert Witness and appear in courts throughout Southern California.

I'm a real estate agent. Horowitz Appraisal Service has helped dozens of our clients when they needed an official appraisal whether it be for a trust, divorce, probate, etc... Here's an example why we use Ben Horowitz. We had a buyer ready to close on new construction. The buyers' lender was located out of state on the East coast. At 5:15am I received a frantic call from the buyer that if they did not have a final inspection appraisal done within 3 hours they would not be able to fund the loan and close before a holiday weekend. The buyer had to be out of the place they were renting. Ben emailed me back around 5:45am. By 9am the appraisal was done and submitted to the lender. The buyer was able to close on time. Just one example how Ben always goes out of his way for his clients.

I am a CPA and needed an appraisal as of a date 20 years prior due to a death and recent sale. This was to give a stepup and save taxes for the surviving spouse. Horowitz did a great job at a fair price and my client was very happy with the result.
