- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the type of legal matter, I may charge a base price or charge per hour. If the issue is charged at an hourly rate, I charge $250 per hour. I am happy to work out payment plans with my clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have an initial, free consultation where I learn about their issues and tell them about Virginia law. This meeting can last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour, depending on what questions the client may have and what the nature of the issue is. After that meeting, if the client would like to hire me, I gather some initial information and work out a payment agreement.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my juris doctorate from University of South Carolina School of Law and have passed the Virginia State Bar. I am also a Virginia State Bar registered Real Estate Settlement Agent.
