FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I will gather some information about the job. I next put together a detailed price quote that will show the job details and the cost for labor and materials. You take this quote and all the time you need to make a decision. If my quote is the one you choose we will schedule the job at that time and in most cases arrange for a security/material down-payment. From there I am able to obtain the materials needed and be ready to go on the day we scheduled. The job is completed only when you are satisfied with the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Learned the basics of painting from my uncle while working for his business out in Denver, Colorado. I left after a year to return home and started Jenkins Custom Painting. 12 years later I have painted many different styles of homes and businesses and many different surfaces. I love to learn and that keeps me on the cutting edge of products and procedures.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was a middle school shop teacher and I grew up learning all aspects of construction. My summers in high school where spent on many construction sites helping a local contractor. I knew that I liked construction and the time in Colorado showed me painting is where I could have the biggest impact on the job.
